100 % Chopin

From 2 to 27 of February 2005, Abdel Rahman El Bacha will interpret, without using score and in a chronological order, the entire oeuvre for piano solo of Chopin. Over the space of three weeks, the 15 solo Chopin recitals will be interspersed with workshops, conferences on Chopin’s life and his pedagogical legacy, readings and even an offbeat musical-theatre piece : Frédéric et Monsieur Vigor.

Du 2 au 27 février 2005, Abdel Rahman El Bacha interprètera de mémoire, et dans l’ordre chronologique, l’intégrale des œuvres pour piano seul de Chopin. Un événement de taille complété par des conférences, des masterclasses, et un conte musical, le tout en collaboration avec les écoles de musique, les conservatoires et le quartier.
