Annual Outdoor Concert on the Grand’Place

The Monnaie Symphony Orchestra directed by Kazushi Ono will perform a free concert on the Grand’Place on June 18, at 9 pm.

On the programme this year are excerpts from famous operas by Richard Strauss (Salome) and Wagner (Ride of the Valkyries, Tannhäuser, Die Meistersinger and the Flying Dutchman). With American soprano Deborah Voigt and Belgian baritone José van Dam.

Concert en plein air sur la Grand Place de Bruxelles

La soprano américaine Deborah Voigt et le bariton José van Dam se produiront sur la célèbre Grand Place à l’occasion d’un concert gratuit. Ils seront accompagnés par l’Orchestre Symphonique et les chœurs de la Monnaie, sous la direction de Kasushi Ono. Au programme, des fragments d’opéra de Wagner et de Strauss.
